Purpose
The Writing Academy®, LLC Supplemental Support System brings teacher lesson plan guides, student interactive workbooks, and lesson slide decks to Grades 3, 4, and 5 classrooms. Every material is TEKS aligned and built to carry daily instruction from bell to bell.
The Writing Academy® is a supplemental support to an already in place Reading Language Arts core curriculum. Our design provides additional, focused practice across the areas of ECR writing, so every student grows within the writing process, evidence collection, and genre selection, as they compose, revise, and edit text based constructed responses.
Every material grows from the same passage and prompt each week, so the teacher plans, student workbooks, and daily slides always teach the same lesson together.
Available for grades 3, 4, and 5.
Daily plans for Prepare and Clusters 1 to 8. Each guide walks the daily lessons for its cluster and lists the TEKS at the start.
The student workbook for Prepare and Clusters 1 to 8, the student side of every daily lesson. Students tap a box and type on a phone, tablet, or computer, no app needed, then print or save.
The daily teaching slide decks that pair with the lesson plans, one deck for every module. Each deck shows the module focus, the I will and I can statements, and the exit ticket.
