6 Ways to Experience / Reading and writing practice platforms

Reading and writing practice platforms

Two places to go next: TBASE for writing, OnSTAGE for reading.

Purpose

Reading and writing practice platforms put TEKS aligned practice in front of students with automatic scoring and reporting. Teachers assign, students respond, and the data arrives in time to adjust tomorrow's lesson.

TBASE

TBASE is the Teach BIG Automated Scoring Engine. It pairs interactive writing tools with ASE/AI essay scoring, so students practice the moves of strong ECR writing and teachers get feedback aligned to STAAR/SST on every paper.

Students build a thesis, which is the central idea, choose the strongest evidence, and explain how it proves the idea. When they submit, TBASE returns a holistic score with extensive feedback that points to a clear next step.

TBASE keeps essay scoring and interactive writing practice in one place so teachers can review feedback aligned to STAAR/SST with students.

$149 per year, one teacher and 25 students with up to 5 essays graded per student. Each extra student is $5. TBASE Teacher is $29 for 5 essays graded in front of the whole class, and TBASE Unlimited is $349 for unlimited essay submissions.

OnSTAGE

OnSTAGE is a reading, editing and revising multiple choice practice assessment platform that resembles the state test.

Teachers build practice from TEKS-aligned passages, assign reading, editing, and revising sets, and open reports that name the next instructional step.

Student work flows into TEKS Teams and classroom-ready reports so teachers can reteach with purpose.

$149 per year, one teacher and 25 students, unlimited. Each extra student is $5. OnSTAGE Teacher is $29 for 5 whole class sessions with no student accounts.
